We have reimagined the packaging of our signature collection, refining its visual language to better reflect both where we come from and where we are going.
Inspired by the Cape Winelands
This redesign is a tribute to the vineyards that inspire us. Working alongside designer Todd Anderson, we set out to create something that feels both grounded and elevated, a natural extension of the Pinotage story.
For our body care collection, we chose deep, wine-rich tones that echo the colour of Pinotage grapes at their most abundant. There is a richness here, a sense of warmth and indulgence that mirrors the sensorial experience of the products themselves.
Our facial care collection takes on a softer expression. A refined cream base is layered with wine-toned illustrations and typography, offering a lighter, more delicate aesthetic that aligns with the intimacy of facial rituals.
Across both ranges, detailed botanical illustrations of grape clusters weave through the design. Rendered in a classical etching style, they speak to craftsmanship, to heritage, and to the quiet beauty of nature. Finished with our gold foil logo, each carton becomes something to hold onto, not just something to discard.
From Grape to Skin
Every detail has been considered to reflect the journey from vineyard to skin. The grape imagery is not simply decorative, it is a reminder of the powerful actives within.
Our Pinotage formulations are rich in polyphenols and resveratrol, potent antioxidants that support skin regeneration, hydration, and protection against environmental stress. It is this balance of nature and science that defines our approach to skincare.
The dual colourway also allows for a more intuitive experience, clearly distinguishing between body and facial care while maintaining a cohesive identity across the range.

As Healing Earth continues to grow beyond South Africa, this new packaging marks an important moment for us. It allows us to step confidently into international wellness and luxury spaces, while remaining deeply connected to our origins.
We wanted the packaging to communicate something before it is even opened, a sense of place, of care, and of authenticity. This is our interpretation of modern African luxury.

We unveiled the new Pinotage packaging at the launch of Healing Earth Wellness at Laborie Estate, a setting that felt entirely aligned with the story we are telling. Surrounded by vineyards, guests were invited to experience the collection through immersive vinotherapy rituals, bringing the journey full circle.
